In 2003, Govan Brown was contracted to build Warner Music Canada’s headquarters. One of the largest record labels in the world sought construction managers capable of designing and building a modern and youthful office space. The project site, located in an unoccupied space, allowed us to work diligently without the risk of potentially disturbing other tenants, which was vital considering the tight schedule. Major project highlights included the construction of meeting rooms,

a lunch room, office fronts and open-concept office spaces. A modern and clean reception area and boardroom were designed to reflect the professionalism embodied by Warner Music.  Our team demonstrated its substantial value through their value engineering. Because of the tight schedule, Govan Brown waived the tendering process and elected to employ pre-selected vendors. Given this undertaking, we were able  to complete the project within the limited budget

of the landlord’s leasehold allowance. Warner Music is a distinguished client of Govan Brown. Being one of the 4 largest record companies in the world, it was an honour to be able to build an office space for a music giant that has a knack for recognizing musical genius globally.
