In 2004, Marsh, one of the world’s leading insurance brokers and strategic risk advisors retained Govan Brown to be their Construction managers. We were given the opportunity to renovate their expanding offices in Brookfield Place. Comprising of 42,000 square feet, the new Marsh space  lay  adjacent  to  their  old  offices  and thus it was  crucial  to maintain an  efficient working pace while causing as little distraction to the

staff as possible. Included in that process was boarding off an existing interconnecting staircase to avoid noise and dust migration from the construction to the existing Marsh office. The two floors were completed on an aggressive schedule while maintaining the budget. The success of any project hinges on our ability to satisfy the needs of our clients. Every client is unique and requires certain desires to be fulfilled in order for us to claim the

success of a project. For the Marsh project, it was essential to build efficiently without disturbing the occupied space adjacent to the site. By maintaining effective work practices and scheduling effectively, our team was able to complete the project without issue.
