Govan Brown and Fidelity Investments have maintained a positive professional relationship for the last 10 years, so when Govan Brown was approached to be their construction managers for two simultaneous projects, our team was thrilled for the opportunity. The project dealt with both Fidelity Pyramis and Fidelity IPG which were both sited at 483 Bay Street in Toronto. Begun in 2009, the Fidelity restack was a LEED certified project with atight deadline and strict client move-in date

Originally on the 4th floor, Fidelity Pyramis required    new offices on the 3rd floor as part of an internal restack. The open workspaces and private offices achieved an aesthetic continuity as they were outfitted with Teknion sliding doors and partitions. The boardroom is a technically-advanced space with teleprescence functionality. To accommodate traders, certain workstations had specialized power and data requirements including multiple monitors and Bloomberg stations throughout  the   space.  Fidelity  IPG

was awarded a LEED Silver certification  and  similar to Pyramis, the space contained primarily open workspaces and offices. In total, the two restacks required the installation of seven new AC units and are combined to cover 64,000 square feet of space. Our 20 years of experience in the construction industry has provided our project mangers with plenty of knowledge and practice managing multiple, coinciding projects. Our team brings that experience and enthusiasm to every project.
