Towers Perrin, the multi-national consulting firm based in Philadelphia, retained Govan Brown in the spring of 2000 to build a call centre within their building. The 16,000 square foot space that would become the new call centre was built on the 8th, 9th and 10th floors of the building. The goal of the design was to establish a space that would not allow sound to travel beyond its walls, fundamental for a place with as much noise as a

call centre. To accomplish the design goal, it was imperative that the original ceilings be removed and replaced. Incorporated into the new ceilings were high-end NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) acoustic ceiling tiles and a white noise mitigation system which limits sound transmission in an area as open as a call centre. Further design details   include  a  raised floor, computer/data centre, stringent security systems,

cafeteria, meeting rooms and workstations. Since our initial partnership with Towers Perrin, Govan Brown has completed several more projects for the popular consulting firm. We are proud to be able to maintain long-standing, working relationships with many of our clients including Towers Perrin.
