Located on the 7th floor of the Canada Trust Tower is the newly renovated space of TD Calgary’s Prairie offices. In 2012, they retained Govan Brown’s services to orchestrate the interior fit-up of their existing offices. The project scope included many cosmetic upgrades as well as manipulating existing spatial orientations. The overall goal of this project was to upgrade the office to a modern aesthetic that aligned with  the  growth  and reputation of their  business. The new  fit-up  required

an extensive amount of spatial manipulation including the construction of a new office within the existing schematic as well as separating the Human Resources department from the rest of the workstations. As for cosmetic improvements, a new full-height, glazed entrance door and side lights were installed in the elevator lobby. A new Human Resources entrance was created separately  from  the space  and glazed  partitions with elegant clerestory for natural light dis-

persion were  built-in.  Further   uses of unassigned space included a new hoteling area and an expanded employee servery area. We have an extensive amount of experience working in the Canada Trust Tower and are happy that we were able to fit-out TD Calgary’s office without disturbing other tenants in the building.
