In 2010, JP Morgan Chase Bank retained Govan Brown to build-out their Calgary location. The space, located on the 6th floor of Calgary’s prestigious Vintage Tower, required very specific renovations to the access flooring and other elements. It was crucial to the project that these improvements match the existing aesthetics of the space and to avoid disturbing the office which remained operational throughout the construction. The crucial element to the renovation, as previously mentioned, was the access flooring. Certain portions
of the flooring needed to be removed and remedied while extensions were also added to suit the new improvements. Other renovations included having to refinish doors and frames to match the original décor of the space. Furthermore, electrical and data components were relocated to suit the new office layout. The entire renovation took place in one month and our team’s ability to effectively schedule and phase aided the construction process to ensure their day-to-day operations were not interrupted. Govan
Brown is experienced when orchestrating occupied renovations for high profile clients. We understand the importance of a company’s continued functionality and we operate in a manner that allows a business to function while under construction. We are happy to have delivered a detailed project to JP Morgan without disrupting their day-to-day operations.
