Govan Brown was retained by this Canadian financial client to perform an occupied renovation of their Calgary branch and the accompanying 7 floors. Located in the energetic downtown core, this project is an ongoing retrofit of this financial client’s flagship location. The purpose of the project was to renovate the office in adherence to the bank’s new design standards. Our client’s flagship location is a prime example of modern aestheticism within a financial office setting. The sleek  and contemporary space is

thematically decorated with black-painted glass accents and tile. The flooring was imported from Europe and the lighting consists of primarily, high-end LED lighting. Along with the aesthetic renovation of the space, our team is also updating the data network for the bank. To complete this occupied undertaking, our team has been renovating each floor, one-half at a time. While one half of the floor is being worked on, the other half houses the temporarily displaced staff. The staging areas  are  vital to  keeping  our  client’s ongoing daily

operations throughout the project. Our team is  collabo-orating extensively with the bank, landlord and all other project stakeholders to ensure that needless hindrances are avoided. Our client’s Western project is ongoing with a substantial completion date only months away. So far, our team has managed to stay under budget and on schedule much to this satisfaction our distinguished client.
