Govan Brown has cultivated a successful relationship with CIBC over the years by completing numerous projects across the country. One of the programs that we have led is the construction of multiple Wood Gundy offices in Ontario, an investment branch of the bank. This Wood Gundy project was managed by Andreea Jianu as she has completed various Wood Gundy projects in the past and was trusted to bring the new space to fruition. Operating from our main office in Toronto, Andreea was able to successfullly coordinate all project teams and details in Ottawa, and deliver a  remarkable space. The large 3 floor office, occupying

the 19th, 20th and 21th floor of Performance Court in Ottawa, totals approximately 33,000 square feet. To link all the floors two internal staircases were fitted into the space, one linking the 19th to 20th floor, the other linking the 20th to the 21st floor. The entire office is accented by elegant wood panelling, accentuating entrances and elevator surroundings. The aesthetic is carried into the boardroom which, along with having enviable AV features, is separated by a retractable, custom wood partition. This boardroom is in addition to the mix of private  and  semi-private  office  spaces  and  work areas throughout. The offices is also outfitted

with functional details. Being an investment firm, it was crucial that security measures were taken, hence the maglock systems and separating glass partition between the cage room (where liquid assets are kept) and the office space. Each floor is also equipped with a LAN room to support the online functions of the brokerage firm. Support is also provided to employees in the form of 4 serveries and kitchens and a large filing room with mechanical shelves.
